About
Core workflow
A 24×12 grid holds nodes, sized and positioned individually. A separate Routing tab exposes every node's audio and mod ports as typed jacks — thick cyan cables for audio, thin purple for modulation — with connection rules enforced automatically (audio only to audio, mod only to mod, no duplicate cables, no feedback cycles). Groups of nodes can be collapsed into a Rack, a real nested sub-patch that keeps its own internal routing.
Sound sources
Oscillators run a polyBLEP analog engine (saw/square/sine/triangle/noise) or a real wavetable engine loaded from Serum-format WAV files — 16 stock tables across styles like Analog/Basics, plus user-importable wavetables and a pencil tool to hand-draw your own. Each oscillator has table/position morph, dual warp distortion, phase and phase-randomize, coarse/fine tune, stereo pan, and its own dedicated ADSR envelope, with a live oscilloscope on the card.
Processing nodes
Filter, 5-band EQ (dual shelf + 3 peaking bands with Q), Distortion (soft/tanh, hard clip, foldback, bitcrush, with 2x oversampling), Compressor (threshold/ratio/attack/release/makeup, with mod-capable threshold for sidechain-style ducking), Formant filter, Ring Modulator, and Utility (gain/pan/width trim).
Time-based & master-bus FX
Delay (2 s feedback line, tone-shaping in the feedback path, tempo-synced divisions or free Hz), Reverb (4-comb/2-allpass Freeverb-style with predelay and damping), Chorus and Phaser/Flanger (modulated multi-tap delay networks) — these run once on the master bus rather than per-voice.
Modulation
LFOs with a Serum-style panel: seven shape presets plus a fully custom drawable curve, rate in Hz or tempo-synced divisions, depth, rise/delay/smooth envelope shaping, phase offset, and repeat count. Macro knobs bind to host automation parameters. A free-running Sample & Hold node sits alongside the LFO's own curve-based S&H mode. Any of these patch via drag-and-drop cable to nearly any knob in the patch.
Engine & I/O
Real stereo master bus (per-voice DSP is mono, summed to stereo at the master boundary), MIDI-driven polyphony with proper voice-stealing, full undo/redo, and an XML preset system with search-by-name/tag browsing.
